CICI Bank has launched the Sapphiro Forex Card, a pre-paid card designed specifically for students heading overseas for higher education.
Powered by Visa, this card offers unique benefits and convenience for both students and their parents, enabling easy management of education-related expenses such as admission fees, course fees, and daily expenses like travel, dining, and groceries.
The Sapphiro Forex Card allows transactions in 15 currencies without any cross-currency mark-up charge, providing students with the flexibility to travel globally even if they load only one currency on the card. Additionally, the card offers joining benefits worth up to Rs 15,000 and other exclusive privileges.
Each Sapphiro Forex Card comes with a welcome kit that includes a primary card and a replacement card. These cards can be activated digitally via iMobile Pay, internet banking, or by contacting the bank’s customer care in case the primary card is lost or damaged.
Similar to other forex cards from ICICI Bank, the Sapphiro Forex Card can be reloaded digitally by students and their parents using iMobile Pay and internet banking, ensuring instant and convenient access from anywhere at any time.
