IndiaFirst Life Insurance Company has announced key leadership appointments aimed at bolstering its distribution capabilities. Varun Gupta has been appointed as President and Chief Distribution Officer (CDO) for Bancassurance, while Sumeet Sahni takes on the role of President and Chief Distribution Officer (CDO) for Agency & Alliances.
Varun Gupta, with over 27 years of experience, transitions from Max Life Insurance where he played a pivotal role in driving significant distribution transformations. At IndiaFirst Life, Gupta will focus on enhancing Bancassurance partnerships and expanding the company’s distribution network.
Sumeet Sahni, who brings more than 26 years of expertise in the life insurance sector, joins IndiaFirst Life from Aditya Birla Sun Life Insurance. Sahni’s leadership will be instrumental in scaling up the Agency & Alliances channel, leveraging his extensive experience in managing and developing partnership channels.
These appointments are part of IndiaFirst Life Insurance Company’s strategic initiative to strengthen its distribution strategy and capitalize on growth opportunities in the insurance market.
