India’s Foreign Exchange Reserves Fell by $1.71 Billion to $652 Billion

India’s foreign exchange reserves witnessed a decline of $1.713 billion to reach $651.997 billion for the week ending June 28, as per the latest data released by the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) on Friday. This decrease follows a prior week’s decline of $2.922 billion.

The major component of the forex reserves, foreign currency assets (FCAs), also decreased by $1.252 billion, standing at $572.881 billion.

Gold reserves registered a reduction of $427 million during the week ended June 28, settling at $56.528 billion. Special Drawing Rights (SDRs) decreased by $35 million, totaling $18.014 billion.
