Swiss wealth manager Lombard Odier Investment Management (LOIM) has introduced a new fixed income fund for investors in Taiwan, expanding its footprint in the Asian market.
The firm has brought its Fallen Angels Recovery strategy, initially created in 2021, to the Taiwan market. This high-yield strategy focuses on investing in bonds that have been downgraded from investment-grade to high-yield status.
The fund currently manages US$360 million in assets and includes approximately 270 holdings. The launch aims to enhance LOIM’s presence and offerings in Asia.
This move follows the successful introduction of the Asia Value Bond fund in Taiwan in 2023.
“We are thrilled to bring the Fallen Angels Recovery strategy to Taiwan, as we continue to expand our services for clients in the region,” said Vincent Magnenat, limited partner, Asia regional head, and global head of strategic alliances at Lombard Odier.
