Oneview Healthcare has announced the expansion of its Value-Added Reseller Agreement with Baxter International to include Canada. This new agreement builds upon their existing partnership that began in June 2023, focusing on the U.S. market.
Strengthening Patient Experience Solutions
The collaboration aims to enhance Baxter’s ability to sell and deliver Oneview’s patient experience solutions effectively. Since the initial agreement, both companies have worked on sales enablement and operational readiness. This includes training for Baxter’s Care & Connectivity Solutions division, ensuring the team can sell, quote, contract, and implement Oneview’s solutions for their customers.
The two firms are also developing a joint product roadmap and streamlining integration processes to improve their offerings.
Leadership Comments on the Partnership
Oneview CEO James Fitter expressed excitement about the expanded partnership, stating, “We are thrilled to extend our partnership with Baxter to include Canada. This collaboration has already provided unrivaled access to the U.S. market and has been crucial in advancing our mission and creating new opportunities for Oneview.”
Fitter added that with Baxter’s extensive commercial teams in both the U.S. and Canada, combined with Oneview’s innovative technology, they are positioned to significantly enhance patient care and operational efficiency in healthcare facilities across North America.
Features of the Oneview Care Experience Platform
The Oneview Care Experience Platform (CXP), part of Baxter’s Care Communications portfolio, offers a cloud-hosted solution that improves patient care and operational efficiency. Key features include patient televisions, tablets, digital door signs, and digital whiteboards.
Additionally, Oneview’s MyStay Mobile product, a software-as-a-service (SaaS) solution, allows patients to access the platform on their own devices. These technological advancements help connect patients, families, and care teams, improving the overall patient experience while reducing the workload for healthcare staff.
Leveraging Baxter’s Network
The partnership also takes advantage of Baxter’s extensive network of technicians and installation contractors, facilitating the deployment of the Oneview CXP across healthcare settings.
Baxter Care & Connectivity Solutions President Julie Brewer noted, “Integrating Oneview’s CXP into our offerings creates new opportunities to enhance the patient experience. The positive feedback from healthcare providers and patients reinforces the value of our collaboration.”
Brewer added that their research and development teams are working closely on deeper integrations between the Oneview platform and Baxter’s Care Communications product portfolio, looking forward to driving further innovations in patient care.
