The Avalanche Foundation has announced a partnership with Visa to launch the Avalanche Card, a groundbreaking crypto-payments solution aimed at connecting digital assets with real-world transactions.
Available in Latin America and the Caribbean
The Avalanche Card is already available in several Latin American and Caribbean markets. This new payment card allows users to spend their digital assets at any of the hundreds of thousands of merchants worldwide that accept Visa.
Supporting Multiple Digital Currencies
The card supports various digital currencies, including Wrapped AVAX, USDC stablecoin, and BENQI Liquid Staked AVAX, providing users with a range of payment options.
User-Friendly Features
According to the Avalanche Card website, the card is linked to a self-custody wallet with a unique address for each asset. Additionally, activities related to the card are not reported to credit bureaus.
While introduced by the Avalanche Foundation, the Avalanche Card is offered by Rain Liquidity, a financial technology services provider.
