On a Green Day, Cardano Climbs 14%

On Tuesday, Cardano experienced a notable increase, trading at $0.3311 by 02:01 ET (06:01 GMT) on the Investing.com Index. This represented a substantial 14.32% gain for the day, marking its largest one-day percentage increase since December 13, 2023.

This surge in Cardano’s price lifted its market capitalization to $11.92 billion, accounting for 0.60% of the total cryptocurrency market cap. At its peak, Cardano’s market cap had reached $94.80 billion.

In the previous 24 hours, Cardano’s trading range was between $0.3115 and $0.3323. Despite this daily gain, the cryptocurrency has experienced a 17.55% decline in value over the past week, trading between $0.2771 and $0.4077 during that period. The volume of Cardano traded in the last 24 hours was approximately $927.77 million, representing 0.48% of the total cryptocurrency trading volume. Cardano is currently down 89.32% from its all-time high of $3.10, achieved on September 2, 2021.

In contrast, Bitcoin was last recorded at $55,871.60 on the Index, reflecting a 5.91% increase for the day. Ethereum also saw gains, trading at $2,520.44, which represents a 9.26% increase.

Bitcoin’s market capitalization stood at $1.104 trillion, comprising 55.65% of the total cryptocurrency market cap, while Ethereum’s market cap was $303.51 billion, making up 15.30% of the total market value.
