AXA Philippines has announced a forthcoming leadership transition, appointing Ayman Kandil as the new President and CEO effective from October 1st. Kandil, presently serving as the chief distribution officer, brings with him over 26 years of extensive executive experience in the insurance sector. He previously held the CEO position at AXA Egypt, where he successfully oversaw multiple companies within the AXA Egypt group.
The decision to appoint Kandil follows the tenure of Bernardo Serrano, the outgoing President and CEO, who will transition to a new role within AXA by September 30th. Under Serrano’s leadership, AXA Philippines achieved notable milestones in sustainable growth and profitability. His legacy includes the establishment of a robust leadership team and talent pipeline poised to sustain the company’s momentum moving forward.
